funny, i've never had a show that i didn't share piece by piece on the internet prior to the event. i've even had previews/pre-sales in town for shows that are just out of town. there is a pride in being secretive about this work especially because i know its all going to print. i don't do prints. i'm breaking a personal rule so how can pride not play a hand this time around ? however as much as i am not sharing visually i am talking about content openly with everyone, i can't hide my loves but i can kill darlings like an adult. speaking of print - boy this card thing is a crossover and a half for me, but i love the idea so much that it's a burden. i want people to get what they want (lord lord lord), but i want what i want. i like things to be done well and i've never tried a duo or tri-tone image for posterity before. it's got challenging limitations and my time has once again run out on me like it will for us all some day very soon. My daughter told me about the discovery of a new habitable planet and it has me so stunned with optimism and futurism i can hardly speak.

in all sincerity - go see this Covarrubias show, the man taught A1 Hirschfield about man's great anthropological rhythms
